Authorcraft Nottingham

Authorcraft evening, Nottingham. June 11th

This was our fourth meeting at our third venue. We moved from Sutton-in-Ashfield to Nottingham City centre to allow better access for everyone. We have achieved this at our new venue and it's fantastic.
Via Fossa is an excellent venue, the  service is great with quality food and drink available so people can make an evening of it if they would like.

Location

Via Fossa is at 44 Canal Street Nottingham NG17EH
Parking is available opposite in a public car park and costs £4 for 4 hours and £5 for 5 hours.
We are 140m from the bus station and 240m from Nottingham railway station.
We are next to the canal but we are not sure of a timetable.
So apart from an helicopter pad I would say we are covered and even that is only 4.2 miles away at the airport.

June 11th Meeting

Always a success and very enjoyable. We covered mainly marketing and did a question and answer session with author Liz Harrison who travelled from Belper in Derbyshire to be with us.
We covered different avenues to get her book on sale and at a price she can make money at.
We discussed Amazon and several ways you can market a real book through them.
Waterstones, W H Smith and other book shops.
Websites and what you need on them and how to get all this without spending a fortune.
We also laughed a lot and got to know each other.
